At Orion, we have two types of motors: Wirefree and Plug in. Our Wirefree motors run on a rechargeable lithium battery that is conveniently hidden within the blind. It’s rechargeable via a standard outlet, and holds its charge for up to 12-18 months, depending on frequency of operation. On the other hand, Plug in motors are ideal for larger windows and provide a continuous power supply, therefore, the battery does not need charging. Plug-in motors are more convenient for hard-to-reach windows, however, they will not function in a power outage.
How are motorized blinds operated?

Remotes & wall switches

App control
Your new motorized blinds can be controlled with your smartphone or table using a user-friendly app. Most of our motors require a separate Wi-Fi module to bridge the connection between your blinds and your smart phone.
