CELLULAR SHADES
Our Cellular Shades are a practical option for all windows. These multipurpose shades are available in a variety of control options, custom shapes and with motorized options for your convenience. Because they are so versatile, they’re a highly customizable window treatment and can provide great options with accessible prices. With light-filtering and blackout fabrics, as well as a large array of colours, our Cellular Shades are a consistent favourite of our customers. Cellular Shades are designed with unique honeycomb-shaped air pockets that run the length of the fabric. These pockets are designed with energy efficiency in mind, by offering superior insulation for your windows. The cells trap cold air in the winter and warm air in the summer, lowering your energy bills over time. The pockets also feature “D” shaped cells that keep the pleats crisp and prevent them from sagging over time, maintaining their appearance and function for years to come.

FABRIC STYLE
Our fabrics range in pleat sizes from 3/8" to 3/4" and are available in light-filtering and room darkening opacities. High quality non-woven and woven fabrics are available. Cellular shades are available with light filtering and blackout options and your choice in either single or double cell, depending on your preferred level of insulation. All of our cellular shade fabrics have a neutral white backing for a clean and consistent street-side appearance, increasing the curb appeal of your home and conforming to condo board requirements.

LIGHT CONTROL
Sheer: Creates a gentle, diffused light. Low privacy
Light filtering: Filters out most light. Full privacy
Blackout: Blocks all light. Full privacy

COMPONENTS
All rails and components will be color coordinated based on your fabric selection.

• Minimum inside mounting requirements: 2"
• Brackets must be mounted 2" from the ends of the headrail. We will supply additional brackets determined by shade width.
• All cellular shades are supplied with colour coordinated hardware

REGULAR MAINTENANCE
For regular maintenance, we recommend using a low suction, hand held vaccum or dust with a soft, clean cloth or feather duster.

SPOT CLEANING
For spot cleaning, use warm water and a mild soap. Avoid contact with window cleaning products as they may discolor your window treatment. Do not use solvents or abrasive solutions to clean.

STAIN REMOVAL
For dirt/stain removal, we recommend contacting a local window treatment cleaning specialist who can clean your shade on the spot, typically without even taking it down. Keep in mind that there are many carpet cleaning services that offer this expertise as well.

Q: DO CELLULAR SHADES HELP INSULATE YOUR HOME?
A: Yes, cellular shades provide important benefits like reducing heat transfer and increasing insulation. The fabric's honeycomb shape traps hot and cold air in cellular pockets reducing air flow into your home. The Double Cell option features two layers of cells between your room and the window, providing an additional insulation barrier.

Q: CAN YOU SEE THROUGH LIGHT-FILTERING CELLULAR SHADES
A: The light filtering cellular are private. Light will filter through and illuminate the room but they will provide complete privacy.

Q: WHY DO BLACKOUT CELLULAR SHADE FABRICS HAVE FOIL INSIDE THE CELLS
A: The foil is the lining that makes the cellular blackout.
